Mini Notepad does not collect, transmit, or share any data. All notes are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device.
We do not collect: note contents, titles, usage statistics, analytics, crash reports, IP addresses, or any identifying information. There are no third-party SDKs, trackers, or analytics libraries included.
Your notes are saved locally under the key mininotepad_data. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it via your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data for Chrome extensions.
Mini Notepad makes no network requests of any kind. All functionality works entirely offline.
storage — saves your notes locally in localStorage.
tabs — used solely for the optional fullscreen mode (opening the notepad in a new tab). Not used to read or monitor tab content.
downloads — used only when you explicitly click Export to save a .txt file. No automatic downloads.
clipboardWrite — used only when you click Copy to copy a note to your clipboard. Not used passively.
