Audio Splitter™ does not collect, transmit, or share any data. All audio processing happens entirely within your browser on your local machine. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
We do not collect: audio data, browsing history, tab content, device identifiers, usage statistics, analytics, crash reports, IP addresses, or any identifying information. There are no third-party SDKs, trackers, or analytics libraries included.
Audio captured from browser tabs is processed entirely in-memory using the Web Audio API. Audio is routed directly to your selected output devices and is never recorded, saved to disk, or transmitted over any network. When you stop capture, all audio data is immediately discarded.
Audio Splitter™ stores your device preferences (selected devices, volume levels, channel modes, timing offsets) locally using chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
Audio Splitter™ makes no network requests of any kind. All functionality works entirely offline. The only exception is Pro license validation, which contacts LemonSqueezy to verify your license key.
tabCapture — captures audio output from the active browser tab for routing to output devices. No visual content or browsing data is captured.
offscreen — maintains persistent audio processing in the background so audio continues when the popup is closed.
storage — stores your device preferences (volume, channel mode, timing offsets) locally on your device.
